1 Samuel 1:3

Context

1:3 Year after year 1  this man would go up from his city to worship and to sacrifice to the Lord of hosts at Shiloh. It was there that the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phineas, served as the Lord’s priests.

12:10 Then they cried out to the Lord and admitted, 2  ‘We have sinned, for we have forsaken the Lord and have served the Baals and the images of Ashtoreth. 3  Now deliver us from the hand of our enemies so that we may serve you.’ 4
