1 Peter 2:22-23

Context
2:22 He¹ committed no sin nor was deceit found in his mouth.² 2:23 When he was maligned, he³ did not answer back; when he suffered, he threatened⁴ no retaliation,⁵ but committed himself to God⁶ who judges justly.

¹tn Grk “who,” referring to Christ and applying the quotations from Isa 53 to him. Because of the length and complexity of the Greek sentence, a new sentence was started here in the translation.
