1 Kings 8:20

8:20 The Lord has kept the promise he made. 1  I have taken my father David’s place and have occupied the throne of Israel, as the Lord promised. I have built this temple for the honor 2  of the Lord God of Israel

1 Kings 12:24

12:24 ‘The Lord says this: “Do not attack and make war with your brothers, the Israelites. Each of you go home, for I have caused this to happen.”’” 3  They obeyed the Lord and went home as the Lord had ordered them to do. 4 

1 Kings 13:26

13:26 When the old prophet who had invited him to his house heard the news, 5  he said, “It is the prophet 6  who rebelled against the Lord. 7  The Lord delivered him over to the lion and it ripped him up 8  and killed him, just as the Lord warned him.” 9

16:7 The prophet Jehu son of Hanani received from the Lord the message predicting the downfall of Baasha and his family because of all the evil Baasha had done in the sight of the Lord. 10  His actions angered the Lord (including the way he had destroyed Jeroboam’s dynasty), so that his family ended up like Jeroboam’s. 11 

1 Kings 20:28

20:28 The prophet 12  visited the king of Israel and said, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Because the Syrians said, “The Lord is a god of the mountains and not a god of the valleys,” I will hand over to you this entire huge army. 13  Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
