1 Kings 6:16

6:16 He built a wall 30 feet in from the rear of the temple as a partition for an inner sanctuary that would be the most holy place. 1  He paneled the wall with cedar planks from the floor to the rafters. 2

7:12 Around the great courtyard were three rows of chiseled stones and one row of cedar beams, like the inner courtyard of the Lord’s temple and the hall of the palace. 3

Context
7:49 the pure gold lampstands at the entrance to the inner sanctuary (five on the right and five on the left), the gold flower-shaped ornaments, lamps, and tongs, 7:50 the pure gold bowls, trimming shears, basins, pans, and censers, and the gold door sockets for the inner sanctuary (the most holy place) and for the doors of the main hall of the temple.

8:6 The priests brought the ark of the Lord’s covenant to its assigned 4  place in the inner sanctuary of the temple, in the most holy place, under the wings of the cherubs.

Context
8:8 The poles were so long their ends were visible from the holy place in front of the inner sanctuary, but they could not be seen from beyond that point. 5  They have remained there to this very day.

1 Kings 20:30

20:30 The remaining 27,000 ran to Aphek and went into the city, but the wall fell on them. 6  Now Ben Hadad ran into the city and hid in an inner room. 7
