Solomon Dedicates the Temple

8:62 The king and all Israel with him were presenting sacrifices to the Lord.

16:1 Jehu son of Hanani received from the Lord this message predicting Baasha’s downfall:³

¹tn The Hebrew term translated “Lord” here and in v.15 is אֲדֹנָי (’adonay).

²tn Heb “And the thing was good in the eyes of the Lord, for Solomon asked for this thing.”
