1 Kings 15:3-4

Context
15:3 He followed all the sinful practices of his father before him. He was not wholeheartedly devoted to the Lord his God, as his ancestor David had been.¹ 15:4 Nevertheless for David’s sake the Lord his God maintained his dynasty² in Jerusalem by giving him a son³ to succeed him⁴ and by protecting Jerusalem.⁵

¹tn Heb “his heart was not complete with the Lord his God, like the heart of David his father.”

²tn Heb “gave him a lamp.”

³tc The Old Greek has the plural “his sons.”

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
