Rehoboam’s Reign over Judah

14:21 Now Rehoboam son of Solomon ruled in Judah. He 1  was forty-one years old when he became king and he ruled for seventeen years in Jerusalem, 2  the city the Lord chose from all the tribes of Israel to be his home. 3  His mother was an Ammonite woman 4  named Naamah.

Zimri’s Reign over Israel

16:15 In the twenty-seventh year of Asa’s reign over Judah, Zimri became king over Israel; he ruled for seven days in Tirzah. Zimri’s revolt took place while the army was deployed 5  in Gibbethon, which was in Philistine territory.

1 Kings 19:21

19:21 Elisha 6  went back and took his pair of oxen and slaughtered them. He cooked the meat over a fire that he made by burning the harness and yoke. 7  He gave the people meat and they ate. Then he got up and followed Elijah and became his assistant.
