1 Kings 1:25

Context
1:25 For today he has gone down and sacrificed many cattle, steers, and sheep and has invited all the king’s sons, the army commanders, and Abiathar the priest. At this moment 1  they are having a feast 2  in his presence, and they have declared, ‘Long live King Adonijah!’ 3 

1 Kings 2:26

Context

2:26 The king then told Abiathar the priest, “Go back to your property 4  in Anathoth. You deserve to die, 5  but today I will not kill you because you did carry the ark of the sovereign Lord before my father David and you suffered with my father through all his difficult times.” 6 

1 Kings 18:36

18:36 When it was time for the evening offering, 7  Elijah the prophet approached the altar 8  and prayed: “O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, prove 9  today that you are God in Israel and that I am your servant and have done all these things at your command.
