1 Chronicles 9:22

9:22 All those selected to be gatekeepers at the entrances numbered 212. Their names were recorded in the genealogical records of their settlements. David and Samuel the prophet¹ had appointed them to their positions.²

Context
19:4 So Hanun seized David’s servants and shaved their beards off.³ He cut off the lower part of their robes so that their buttocks were exposed⁴ and then sent them away.

¹tn The Hebrew term is רֹאֶה (ro’eh, “seer”), an older word for נָבִיא (navi’, “prophet”).

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
