1 Chronicles 6:49

Context
6:49 But Aaron and his descendants offered sacrifices on the altar for burnt offerings and on the altar for incense as they had been assigned to do in the most holy sanctuary. 1  They made atonement for Israel, just as God’s servant Moses had ordered. 2 

1 Chronicles 12:18

12:18 But a spirit 3  empowered 4  Amasai, the leader of the thirty warriors, and he said: 5 

“We are yours, O David!

We support 6  you, O son of Jesse!

May you greatly prosper! 7 

May those who help you prosper! 8 

Indeed 9  your God helps you!”

So David accepted them and made them leaders of raiding bands.

17:21 And who is like your people, Israel, a unique nation 10  in the earth? Their God 11  went to claim 12  a nation for himself! 22:5 David said, “My son Solomon is just an inexperienced young man, 20  and the temple to be built for the Lord must be especially magnificent so it will become famous and be considered splendid by all the nations. 21  Therefore I will make preparations for its construction.” So David made extensive preparations before he died.

22:14 Now, look, I have made every effort to supply what is needed to build the Lord’s temple. 22  I have stored up 100,000 talents 23  of gold, 1,000,000 24  talents of silver, and so much bronze and iron it cannot be weighed, as well as wood and stones. Feel free to add more!

28:4 The Lord God of Israel chose me out of my father’s entire family to become king over Israel and have a permanent dynasty. 26  Indeed, 27  he chose Judah as leader, and my father’s family within Judah, and then he picked me out from among my father’s sons and made me king over all Israel. 28

29:2 So I have made every effort 29  to provide what is needed for the temple of my God, including the gold, silver, bronze, iron, wood, 30  as well as a large amount of onyx, settings of antimony and other stones, all kinds of precious stones, and alabaster.
