1 Chronicles 16:35

Context

16:35 Say this prayer: 1  “Deliver us, O God who delivers us!

Gather us! Rescue us from the nations!

Then we will give thanks 2  to your holy name,

and boast about your praiseworthy deeds.” 3

Aaron and Moses.

Aaron and his descendants were chosen on a permanent basis to consecrate the most holy items, to offer sacrifices before the Lord, to serve him, and to praise his name. 4

23:32 They were in charge of the meeting tent and the holy place, and helped their relatives, the descendants of Aaron, in the service of the Lord’s temple. 5
