David Leads in Worship

16:1 They brought the ark of God and put it in the middle of the tent David had pitched for it. Then they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings 1  before God.

21:26 David built there an altar to the Lord and offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings. 2  He called out to the Lord, and the Lord 3  responded by sending fire from the sky and consuming the burnt sacrifice on the altar.

22:9 Look, you will have a son, who will be a peaceful man. 4  I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. 5  Indeed, Solomon 6  will be his name; I will give Israel peace and quiet during his reign. 7
