Isaiah 1:6

1:6 From the soles of your feet to your head,

there is no spot that is unharmed. ¹ 

There are only bruises, cuts,

and open wounds.

They have not been cleansed ²  or bandaged,

nor have they been treated ³  with olive oil. ⁴

Isaiah 36:5

36:5 Your claim to have a strategy and military strength is just empty talk. ⁷  In whom are you trusting, that you would dare to rebel against me?

Isaiah 41:12

41:12 When you will look for your opponents, ⁸  you will not find them;

your enemies ⁹  will be reduced to absolutely nothing.
