Galatians 1:7

1:7 not that there really is another gospel, ¹  but ²  there are some who are disturbing you and wanting ³  to distort the gospel of Christ.

Galatians 2:21

2:21 I do not set aside ⁴  God’s grace, because if righteousness ⁵  could come through the law, then Christ died for nothing! ⁶ 

Galatians 3:12-13

3:12 But the law is not based on faith, ⁷  but the one who does the works of the law ⁸  will live by them. ⁹  3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming ¹⁰  a curse for us (because it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”) ¹¹

3:20 Now an intermediary is not for one party alone, but God is one. ¹²

5:3 And I testify again to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey ¹³  the whole law.

5:11 Now, brothers and sisters, ¹⁴  if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? ¹⁵  In that case the offense of the cross ¹⁶  has been removed. ¹⁷

According to BDAG 634 s.v. μεσίτης, “It prob. means that the activity of an intermediary implies the existence of more than one party, and hence may be unsatisfactory because it must result in a compromise.
