15:3 You may exact payment from a foreigner, but whatever your fellow Israelite ¹  owes you, you must remit.

Deuteronomy 28:22

⁶ tn Heb “the foreigner.” This is a collective singular and has therefore been translated as plural; this includes the pronouns in the following verse, which are also singular in the Hebrew text.

⁷ sn These are the plagues the Lord inflicted on the Egyptians prior to the exodus which, though they did not fall upon the Israelites, must have caused great terror (cf. Exod 15:26).
