Deuteronomy 12:31
12:31 You must not worship the Lord your God the way they do! 1 For everything that is abhorrent 2 to him, 3 everything he hates, they have done when worshiping their gods. They even burn up their sons and daughters before their gods!
Deuteronomy 17:4-5
17:4 When it is reported to you and you hear about it, you must investigate carefully. If it is indeed true that such a disgraceful thing 4 is being done in Israel,
17:5 you must bring to your city gates 5 that man or woman who has done this wicked thing – that very man or woman – and you must stone that person to death. 6

22:26 You must not do anything to the young woman – she has done nothing deserving of death. This case is the same as when someone attacks another person 7 and murders him,
