Elisha Meets with Hazael

8:7 Elisha traveled to Damascus while King Ben Hadad of Syria was sick. The king 1  was told, “The prophet 2  has come here.”

2 Kings 16:9

16:9 The king of Assyria responded favorably to his request; 3  he 4  attacked Damascus and captured it. He deported the people 5  to Kir and executed Rezin.
