Luke 1:27

Context
1:27 to a virgin engaged¹ to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of David,² and the virgin’s name was Mary.

¹tn Or “promised in marriage.”

²tn Grk “Joseph, of the house of David.”

sn The Greek word order here favors connecting Davidic descent to Joseph, not Mary, in this remark.

displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
