Blow ye the trumpet, blow!
The gladly solemn sound
Let all the nations know,
To earth’s remotest bound:Refrain
The year of jubilee is come!
The year of jubilee is come!
Return, ye ransomed sinners, home.Jesus, our great high priest,
Hath full atonement made,
Ye weary spirits, rest;
Ye mournful souls, be glad:Refrain
Extol the Lamb of God,
The sin atoning Lamb;
Redemption by His blood

Awake! Awake! the Master now is calling us,
Arise! Arise! And, trusting in His Word,
Go forth! Go forth! Proclaim the year of jubilee,
And take the cross, the blessèd cross of Christ our Lord.Refrain
On, on, swell the chorus,
On, on, the morning star is shining o’er us;
On, on, while before us,
Our mighty, mighty Savior leads the way.
Glory, glory, hear the everlasting throng,
Shout “Hosanna!” while we boldly march along;
Faithful soldiers here below, only Jesus will we know;

With His dear cross in view,
Each Christian grace renew,
And make endeavor true

Wake the song of jubilee,
Let it echo o’er the sea!
Now is come the promised hour,
Jesus reigns with sov’reign power.
All ye nations, join and sing,
Christ of lords and kings is King.
