  In the light that Jesus sheds on you, Thro’ many blessings day by day, You can be His servant kind and true, By leaving smiles along your way. Refrain You can lighten someone’s burden, You can brighten someone’s day; You can drive the loneliness from someone’s heart, Leaving smiles along the way. Sorrows all about you, grief and pain, And burdens that are hard to bear; You can mix the sunshine with the rain, By making lighter someone’s care. Refrain Then in joy and gladness daily be The Savior’s witness staunch and true; Showing unto others how ’twas He Who shed His smiling love on you. Refrain

• [Gal 6:2] O Praise Our God Today

  O praise our God today, His constant mercy bless, Whose love hath helped us on our way, And granted us success. His arm the strength imparts Our daily toil to bear; His grace alone inspires our hearts Each other’s load to share. O happiest work below, Earnest of joy above, To sweeten many a cup of woe By deeds of holy love! Lord, may it be our choice This blessèd rule to keep, “Rejoice with them that do rejoice, And weep with them that weep.”

• [Gal 6:9] O Thou Who Dost To Man Accord

  O Thou Who dost to man accord His highest prize, his best reward, Thou Hope of all our race; Jesu, to Thee we now draw near, Our earnest supplications hear, Who humbly seek Thy face. With self accusing voice within, Our conscience tells of many a sin In thought, and word, and deed: O cleanse that conscience from all stain, The penitent restore again, From every burthen freed. If Thou reject us, who shall give Our fainting spirits strength to live? ’Tis Thine alone to spare; With cleansèd hearts to pray aright, And find acceptance in Thy sight, Be this our lowly prayer. ’This Thou has blest this solemn fast; So may its days by us be passed In self control severe, That, when our Easter morn we hail Its mystic feast we may not fail To keep with conscience clear. O blessèd Trinity, bestow Thy pardoning grace on us below, And shield us evermore; Until, within Thy courts above, We see Thy face, and sing Thy love, And with Thy saints adore.

• [Gal 6:10] Do All The Good You Can

  Onward go the sunbeams, Shining all the day; Looking down upon us, Now they seem to say: Let your smile be cheerful, Ever warm and bright, Make the hearts around you Happy with its light. Refrain Marching on together, Thro’ this fleeting world below, Helping one another Onward as we go; Think of what a blessing, God the Father gave to man, Try and do for others All the good you can; Let your smile be cheerful, Ever warm and bright, Make the hearts around you Happy with its light. Hearts and hands to Jesus, Gladly we will give, In the path of duty, Walking while we live; Cheering on the sad ones, Lifting those that fall, Shining like the sunbeams, Doing good to all.
