2:7 The son¹ of Carmi:

Achan,² who brought the disaster on Israel when he stole what was devoted to God.³

¹tn Heb “sons.” The Hebrew text has the plural, but only one son is listed.

²tc The Hebrew text has “Achar,” which means “disaster,” but a few medieval Hebrew mss read “Achan.” See Josh 7:1.

³tn Heb “the troubler of Israel who was unfaithful with respect to the devoted [things].”

start	search for verses that contains words that start with the search words	"fis" will search for verses that contains words start with "fis", the result will be "fish", "fishing", "fisherman", etc
similar	search for verses that contains words that similar in spelling to the search words.	"fish" will search verses that contain words which has similar spelling with fish. The result: "dish",etc
displaying	set the max displaying in one page.	"20" will set displaying max to 20 per page
range	set searching range	"All Bible", "Old Testament", "New Testament"
