lepidolite, n. [Gr. lepi`s -i`dos, a scale + -lite: cf. F. lépidolithe.].
A species of mica, of a lilac or rose-violet color, containing lithia. It usually occurs in masses consisting of small scales. See Mica. [1913 Webster]
