Phocodontian. pl. [NL., fr. Gr. a seal + 'odoy`s, 'odo`ntos, a tooth.].
     A group of extinct carnivorous whales. Their teeth had compressed and serrated crowns. It includes Squalodon and allied genera.  [1913 Webster]
