Guacharo, n. [Cf. Sp. guácharo sickly, dropsical, guacharaca a sort of bird.].
A nocturnal bird of South America and Trinidad (Steatornis Caripensis , or S. steatornis ); -- called also oilbird . [1913 Webster]
