A Chilian apocynaceous tree (Aspidosperma Quebracho ); also, its bark, which is used as a febrifuge, and for dyspnwhite quebracho, to distinguish it from the red quebracho, a Mexican anacardiaceous tree (Loxopterygium Lorentzii ) whose bark is said to have similar properties.
