tyrotoxiconn. [NL., fr. Gr. cheese + . See Toxic.].
     A ptomaine discovered by Vaughan in putrid cheese and other dairy products, and producing symptoms similar to cholera infantum. Chemically, it appears to be related to, or identical with, diazobenzol.  [1913 Webster]
