Used in the tabernacle service, 2 Sam. 6:5; 1 Chr. 13:8; 15:16, 19, 28; in the temple service, 2 Chr. 5:12, 13; 1 Chr. 16:5, 42; 25:1, 6; Psa. 150:5.
Used on special occasions: Day of atonement, 2 Chr. 29:25; laying of the foundation of the second temple, Ezra 3:10, 11; dedication of the wall, Neh. 12:27, 36.
