’Gainst the foe advancing, forward one and all!
Christ is our Commander; faithful let us be:
He will give to us the victory!Refrain
Though the battle rages, what have we to fear?
In the wildest conflict, He is ever near.
Trusting in our Leader, faithful let us be:
He will give the victory!In His royal service, there’s a work for all,
Cheering on the faint ones, lifting those that fall;
Unto Him Who calls us ever faithful be:
He will give to us the victory!Refrain
Ever pressing onward in the cause of right,
Holding up the banner, walking in the light;
Keeping His commandments, great rewards have we!
He will give to us the victory!Refrain

Smiling at danger, braving the foe;
Bright are our landmarks, brightly they shine;
March on rejoicing, keep in the line.Refrain

Grant to this child the inward grace,
While we the outward sign impart;
The cross we on his forehead trace
Do Thou engrave upon his heart.May it his pride and glory be,
Beneath Thy banner fair unfurled,
To march to certain victory
O’er sin, o’er Satan, o’er the world.Play source: Cyberhymnal - [2Ti 2:12] Head Of Thy Church Triumphant
Head of Thy Church triumphant,
We joyfully adore Thee;
Till Thou appear,Thy members here
Shall sing like those in glory.
We lift our hearts and voices
With blest anticipation,
And cry aloud, and give to God
The praise of our salvation.While in affliction’s furnace,
And passing through the fire,
Thy love we praise, which knows our days,
And ever brings us nigher.
We clap our hands exulting
In Thine almighty favor;
The love divine which made us Thine
Shall keep us Thine for ever.Thou dost conduct Thy people
Through torrents of temptation,
Nor will we fear, while Thou art near,
The fire of tribulation.
The world with sin and Satan
In vain our march opposes,
Through Thee we shall break through them all,
And sing the song of Moses.By faith we see the glory
To which Thou shalt restore us,
The cross despise for that high prize
Which Thou hast set before us.
And if Thou count us worthy,
We each, as dying Stephen,
Shall see Thee stand at God’s right hand,
To take us up to Heaven.Play source: Cyberhymnal - [2Ti 2:12] We Shall Reign
When the Lord from Heav’n appears,
When are banished all our fears,
When the sleepers from the tomb,
With the watchers reach their home.Refrain
Then enthroned our Lord with Thee,
We shall reign eternally,
Then enthroned our Lord with Thee,
We shall reign eternally,When our eyes the King shall see,
In His glorious majesty,
When to Him we’re called above,
Partners of His joy and love.Refrain
Debtors to His matchless grace,
At His feet our crowns will place,
And as ages roll along,
Still will sing the glad new song.Refrain
Let this hope now purify
Those who on Thy Word rely;
Comfort to our hearts afford,
’Till the coming of the Lord.Refrain

To the work! To the work! We are servants of God;
Let us follow the path that our Master has trod;
With the balm of His counsel our strength to renew,
Let us do with our might what our hands find to do.Refrain
Toiling on, toiling on,
Toiling on, toiling on,
Let us hope and trust,
Let us watch and pray,
And labor till the Master comes.To the work! To the work! Let the hungry be fed;
To the fountain of life let the weary be led;
In the cross and its banner our glory shall be,
While we herald the tidings, “Salvation is free!”Refrain
To the work! To the work! There is labor for all;
For the kingdom of darkness and error shall fall;
And the love of our Father exalted shall be,
In the loud swelling chorus, “Salvation is free!”Refrain
To the work! To the work! In the strength of the Lord,
And a robe and a crown shall our labor reward,
When the home of the faithful our dwelling shall be,
And we shout with the ransomed, “Salvation is free!”Refrain

Workman of God! O lose not heart,
But learn what God is like;
And in the darkest battlefield
Thou shalt know where to strike.Thrice blest is he to whom is giv’n
The instinct that can tell
That God is on the field, when He
Is most invisible.Blest too is he who can divine
Where real right doth lie,
And dares to take the side that seems
Wrong to man’s blindfold eye.Then learn to scorn the praise of men,
And learn to lose with God;
For Jesus won the world through shame,
And beckons thee His road.For right is right, since God is God,
And right the day must win;
To doubt would be disloyalty,
To falter would be sin.Play source: Cyberhymnal - [2Ti 2:19] King Of Saints, To Whom The Number
King of saints, to Whom the number
Of Thy starry host is known,
Many a name, by man forgotten,
Lives forever round Thy throne;
Lights, which earth-born mists have darkened,
There are shining full and clear,
Princes in the court of Heaven,
Nameless, unremembered here.In the roll of Thine apostles
One there stands, Bartholomew,
He for whom today we offer,
Year by year, our praises due;
How he toiled for Thee and suffered
None on earth can now record;
All his saintly life is hidden
In the knowledge of his Lord.Was it he, beneath the fig tree
Seen of Thee, and guileless found;
He who saw the good he longed for
Rise from Nazareth’s barren ground;
He who met his risen Master
On the shore of Galilee;
He to whom the word was spoken,
“Greater things thou yet shall see”?None can tell us; all is written
In the Lamb’s great book of life,
All the faith, and prayer, and patience,
All the toiling, and the strife;
There are told Thy hidden treasures;
Number us, O Lord, with them,
When Thou makest up the jewels
Of Thy living diadem.Play source: Cyberhymnal - [2Ti 2:24] Lord, As We Thy Name Profess
Lord, as we Thy Name profess,
May our hearts Thy love confess;
And in all our praise of Thee
May our lips and lives agree.Make us resolute to do
What Thou showest to be true;
Make us hate and shun the ill,
Loyal to Thy holy will.May Thy yoke be meekly worn,
May Thy cross be bravely borne;
Make us patient, gentle, kind,
Pure in life and heart and mind.Gracious Savior, heav’nly Friend,
On Thy grace our souls depend;
Let that grace our needs supply
While we live and when we die.Play source: Cyberhymnal
