Matthew 7:8

For everyone who asks ¹  receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And the door is opened to everyone who knocks.

This isn't a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we're in.

Because to everyone who makes a request, it will be given; and he who is searching will get his desire, and to him who gives the sign, the door will be open.

For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
