They said, “We are happy to give you earrings.” 1 So they 2 spread out a garment, and each one threw an earring from his plunder onto it.
They answered, "We’ll be glad to give them." So they spread out a garment, and each man threw a ring from his plunder onto it.
They said, "We will surely give them." So they spread out a garment, and every one of them threw an earring there from his spoil.
"Gladly!" they replied. They spread out a cloak, and each one threw in a gold earring he had gathered.
They said, "Of course. They're yours!" They spread out a blanket and each man threw his plundered earrings on it.
And they gave answer, We will gladly give them. So they put down a robe, every man dropping into it the ear-rings he had taken.
"We will willingly give them," they answered. So they spread a garment, and each threw into it an earring he had taken as booty.
