The Lord saw Israel’s intense suffering; 1 everyone was weak and incapacitated and Israel had no deliverer. 2
The LORD had seen how bitterly everyone in Israel, whether slave or free, was suffering; there was no-one to help them.
For the LORD saw the affliction of Israel, which was very bitter; for there was neither bond nor free, nor was there any helper for Israel.
For the LORD saw the bitter suffering of everyone in Israel, and how they had absolutely no one to help them.
GOD was fully aware of the trouble in Israel, its bitterly hard times. No one was exempt, whether slave or citizen, and no hope of help anywhere was in sight.
For the Lord saw how bitter was the trouble of Israel, and that everyone was cut off, he who was shut up and he who went free, and that Israel had no helper.
For the LORD saw that the distress of Israel was very bitter; there was no one left, bond or free, and no one to help Israel.
For the LORD saw that the affliction of Israel was very bitter; and whether bond or free, there was no helper for Israel.
