‘If Balak would give me his palace full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond 1 the commandment 2 of the Lord to do either good or evil of my own will, 3 but whatever the Lord tells me I must speak’?

And on the first day there is to be a holy assembly; you must do no ordinary work 1 on it.
On the seventh day you are to have a holy assembly, you must do no regular work.
“‘Also, on the day of the first fruits, when you bring a new grain offering to the Lord during your Feast of Weeks, you are to have a holy assembly. You must do no ordinary work.
“‘On the first day of the seventh month, you are to hold a holy assembly. You must not do your ordinary work, for it is a day of blowing trumpets for you.
“‘On the tenth day of this seventh month you are to have a holy assembly. You must humble yourselves; 1 you must not do any work on it.
“‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you are to have a holy assembly; you must do no ordinary work, and you must keep a festival to the Lord for seven days.
“‘On the eighth day you are to have a holy assembly; you must do no ordinary work on it.
But if her father overrules her when he hears 1 about it, then none 2 of her vows or her obligations which she has pledged for herself will stand. And the Lord will release 3 her from it, because her father overruled her.
