It turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, extended from there to Hukok, touched Zebulun on the south, Asher on the west, and the Jordan 1 on the east.
What follows is a record of what happened to Jerusalem and Judah because of the Lord’s anger; he finally threw them out of his presence. 1 Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
The Lord solemnly warned Israel and Judah through all his prophets and all the seers, “Turn back from your evil ways; obey my commandments and rules that are recorded in the law. I ordered your ancestors to keep this law and sent my servants the prophets to remind you of its demands.” 1
Every cooking pot in Jerusalem and Judah will become holy in the sight of the Lord who rules over all, so that all who offer sacrifices may come and use some of them to boil their sacrifices in them. On that day there will no longer be a Canaanite 1 in the house of the Lord who rules over all.
“Go, seek an oracle from 1 the Lord for me and those who remain in Israel and Judah. Find out about 2 the words of this scroll that has been discovered. For the Lord’s fury has been ignited against us, 3 because our ancestors 4 have not obeyed the word of the Lord by doing all that this scroll instructs!” 5
