The beginning of the gospel 1 of Jesus Christ, 2 the Son of God. 3
and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.
and submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. 1
This is the record of the genealogy 1 of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
You also are among them, 1 called to belong to Jesus Christ. 2
just as the testimony about Christ has been confirmed among you –
Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Christ.
Take your share of suffering 1 as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.
but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.
Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His plea 1 through us. We plead with you 2 on Christ’s behalf, “Be reconciled to God!”
From Paul, 1 an apostle of Christ Jesus by the command of God our Savior 2 and of Christ Jesus our hope,
Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Should I take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!
For just as the sufferings 1 of Christ 2 overflow 3 toward us, so also our comfort through Christ overflows to you. 4
You are looking at outward appearances. 1 If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, he should reflect on this again: Just as he himself belongs to Christ, so too do we.
From Simeon 1 Peter, 2 a slave 3 and apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who through the righteousness of our God 4 and Savior, 5 Jesus Christ, have been granted 6 a faith just as precious 7 as ours.
From Paul, 1 a slave 2 of Christ Jesus, 3 called to be an apostle, 4 set apart for the gospel of God. 5
Consequently faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the preached word 1 of Christ. 2
and I know that when I come to you I will come in the fullness of Christ’s blessing.
Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches of Christ greet you.
to the only wise God, through Jesus Christ, be glory forever! Amen.
