But in those sacrifices 1 there is a reminder of sins year after year.
to give his people knowledge of salvation 1 through the forgiveness 2 of their sins.
He 1 went into all the region around the Jordan River, 2 preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. 3

For if we deliberately keep on sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins is left for us, 1

God exalted him 1 to his right hand as Leader 2 and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. 3
About him all the prophets testify, 1 that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins 2 through his name.”
For I passed on to you as of first importance 1 what I also received – that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures,
For every high priest is taken from among the people 1 and appointed 2 to represent them before God, 3 to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.
