For he had healed many, so that all who were afflicted with diseases pressed toward him in order to touch him.
And Zechariah, visibly shaken when he saw the angel, 1 was seized with fear. 2
(For the Spirit 1 had not yet come upon 2 any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) 3
They all began to weep loudly, 1 and hugged 2 Paul and kissed him, 3
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on 1 all those who heard the message. 2
Then as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on 1 them just as he did 2 on us at the beginning. 3
But Paul went down, 1 threw himself 2 on the young man, 3 put his arms around him, 4 and said, “Do not be distressed, for he is still alive!” 5
For even Christ did not please himself, but just as it is written, “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” 1
So 1 he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way from home 2 his father saw him, and his heart went out to him; 3 he ran and hugged 4 his son 5 and kissed him.
This became known to all who lived in Ephesus, 1 both Jews and Greeks; fear came over 2 them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was praised. 3
But 1 after three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and tremendous fear seized 2 those who were watching them.
