Finally, brothers and sisters, 1 whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things.
Then 1 the apostles gathered around Jesus and told him everything they had done and taught.
But these men do not understand the things they slander, and they are being destroyed by the very things that, like irrational animals, they instinctively comprehend. 1
And whatever you ask in prayer, if you believe, 1 you will receive.”
