But I will come to you after I have gone through Macedonia – for I will be going through Macedonia –
and through your help to go on into Macedonia and then from Macedonia to come back 1 to you and be helped on our way into Judea by you.
As I urged you when I was leaving for Macedonia, stay on in Ephesus 1 to instruct 2 certain people not to spread false teachings, 3
After Paul 1 saw the vision, we attempted 2 immediately to go over to Macedonia, 3 concluding that God had called 4 us to proclaim the good news to them.
So after sending 1 two of his assistants, 2 Timothy and Erastus, to Macedonia, 3 he himself stayed on for a while in the province of Asia. 4
After the disturbance had ended, Paul sent for the disciples, and after encouraging 1 them and saying farewell, 2 he left to go to Macedonia. 3
I had no relief in my spirit, 1 because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I said good-bye to them 2 and set out 3 for Macedonia.
For even when we came into Macedonia, our body 1 had no rest at all, but we were troubled in every way – struggles from the outside, fears from within.
A 1 vision appeared to Paul during the night: A Macedonian man was standing there 2 urging him, 3 “Come over 4 to Macedonia 5 and help us!”
Now after all these things had taken place, 1 Paul resolved 2 to go to Jerusalem, 3 passing through Macedonia 4 and Achaia. 5 He said, 6 “After I have been there, I must also see Rome.” 7
