let us draw near with a sincere heart in the assurance that faith brings, 1 because we have had our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience 2 and our bodies washed in pure water.
For out of the heart come evil ideas, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.
He has demonstrated power 1 with his arm; he has scattered those whose pride wells up from the sheer arrogance 2 of their hearts.
encourage your hearts and strengthen you 1 in every good thing you do or say. 2
