If your eye causes you to sin, tear it out! 1 It is better to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye than to have 2 two eyes and be thrown into hell,
Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eye is healthy, 1 your whole body is full of light, but when it is diseased, 2 your body is full of darkness.
“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, 1 so that they would not see with their eyes and understand with their heart, 2 and turn to me, 3 and I would heal them.” 4
And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about this.”
He came again and found them sleeping; they could not keep their eyes open. 1

Others said, “These are not the words 1 of someone possessed by a demon. A demon cannot cause the blind to see, 2 can it?” 3
After 1 he had said this, while they were watching, he was lifted up and a cloud hid him from their sight.
Immediately 1 something like scales 2 fell from his eyes, and he could see again. He 3 got up and was baptized,

If the whole body were an eye, what part would do the hearing? If the whole were an ear, what part would exercise the sense of smell?
You 1 foolish Galatians! Who has cast a spell 2 on you? Before your eyes Jesus Christ was vividly portrayed 3 as crucified!
