For we know in part, and we prophesy in part,

So ¹  they gave him a piece of broiled fish,

After going out from there, Jesus went to the region of Tyre ¹  and Sidon. ² 

Now you are Christ’s body, and each of you is a member of it.

but when what is perfect ¹  comes, the partial will be set aside.

Now when the soldiers crucified ¹  Jesus, they took his clothes and made four shares, one for each soldier, ²  and the tunic ³  remained. (Now the tunic ⁴  was seamless, woven from top to bottom as a single piece.) ⁵ 

Immediately he got into a boat with his disciples and went to the district of Dalmanutha. ¹ 

After he had gone through those regions ¹  and spoken many words of encouragement ²  to the believers there, ³  he came to Greece, ⁴ 

For in the first place, when you come together as a church I hear there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it.

If someone speaks in a tongue, it should be two, or at the most three, one after the other, and someone must interpret.

But if anyone has caused sadness, he has not saddened me alone, but to some extent (not to exaggerate) ¹  he has saddened all of you as well.

For indeed, what had been glorious now ¹  has no glory because of the tremendously greater glory of what replaced it. ² 

Now what is the meaning of “he ascended,” except that he also descended ¹  to the lower regions, ²  namely, the earth? ³ 

Therefore do not let anyone judge you with respect to food or drink, or in the matter of a feast, new moon, or Sabbath days –

And above the ark ¹  were the cherubim ²  of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Now is not the time to speak of these things in detail.

and will cut him in two, ¹  and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The ¹  younger of them said to his ²  father, ‘Father, give me the share of the estate ³  that will belong ⁴  to me.’ So ⁵  he divided his ⁶  assets between them. ⁷ 

Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene, ¹  and visitors from Rome, ² 

He ¹  kept back for himself part of the proceeds with his wife’s knowledge; he brought ²  only part of it and placed it at the apostles’ feet.

While ¹  Apollos was in Corinth, ²  Paul went through the inland ³  regions ⁴  and came to Ephesus. ⁵  He ⁶  found some disciples there ⁷
