“You are the salt 1 of the earth. But if salt loses its flavor, 2 how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled on by people.
When he came to the other side, to the region of the Gadarenes, 1 two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were extremely violent, so that no one was able to pass by that way.

He is like a man 1 building a house, who dug down deep, 2 and laid the foundation on bedrock. When 3 a flood came, the river 4 burst against that house but 5 could not shake it, because it had been well built. 6
