And the whole community ¹  of the Israelites and the resident foreigner who lives among them will be forgiven, since all the people were involved in the unintentional offense.

You must have one law for the person who sins unintentionally, both for the native-born among the Israelites and for the resident foreigner who lives among them.

You may exact payment from a foreigner, but whatever your fellow Israelite ¹  owes you, you must remit.

You must not pervert justice due a resident foreigner or an orphan, or take a widow’s garment as security for a loan.

The foreigners ¹  who reside among you will become higher and higher over you and you will become lower and lower.

“Foreigners, who do not belong to your people Israel, will come from a distant land because of your reputation. ¹ 

Take a man’s ¹  garment when he has given security for a stranger, and when he gives surety for a stranger, ²  hold him in pledge. ³ 

Ethiopia, Put, Lud, all the foreigners, ¹  Libya, and the people ²  of the covenant land ³  will die by the sword along with them.

Dear friends, I urge you as foreigners and exiles to keep away from fleshly desires that do battle against the soul,

A foreigner and a hired worker must not eat it.

to whom alone the land was given when no foreigner passed among them. ¹ 

You made us ¹  an object of ridicule ²  among the nations; foreigners treat us with contempt. ³ 

They kill the widow and the one residing outside his native land, and they murder the fatherless. ¹ 

Praise the Lord, all you nations! Applaud him, all you foreigners! ² 

in order to take ¹  revenge on the nations, and punish foreigners.

Ephraim has mixed itself like flour ¹  among the nations; Ephraim is like a ruined cake of bread that is scorched on one side. ² 

Show hospitality ¹  to one another without complaining.

You yourselves must obey ¹  my statutes and my regulations and must not do any of these abominations, both the native citizen and the resident foreigner in your midst, ² 

You may have the Sabbath produce ¹  of the land to eat – you, your male servant, your female servant, your hired worker, the resident foreigner who stays with you, ² 

Also you may buy slaves ¹  from the children of the foreigners who reside with you, and from their families that are ²  with you, whom they have fathered in your land, they may become your property.
