And do not lead us into temptation, ¹  but deliver us from the evil one. ² 

As ¹  they were going away, ²  a man who could not talk and was demon-possessed was brought to him.

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon!’ ¹ 

But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God ¹  has already overtaken ²  you.

The field is the world and the good seed are the people ¹  of the kingdom. The weeds are the people ²  of the evil one,

Then ¹  Jesus rebuked ²  the demon and it came out of him, and the boy was healed from that moment.

When it was evening, after sunset, they brought to him all who were sick and demon-possessed.

So ¹  he went into all of Galilee preaching in their synagogues ²  and casting out demons.

And the demonic spirits ¹  begged him, “Send us into the pigs. Let us enter them.”

Those who had seen what had happened to the demon-possessed man reported it, and they also told about the pigs.

As he was getting into the boat the man who had been demon-possessed asked if he could go ¹  with him.

They cast out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.

She went home and found the child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.

These signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; ¹ 

Now ¹  in the synagogue ²  there was a man who had the spirit of an unclean ³  demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,

Those ¹  who had seen it told them how the man who had been demon-possessed had been healed. ² 

Then ¹  the seventy-two ²  returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons submit to ³  us in your name!” ⁴ 

But if I cast out demons by the finger ¹  of God, then the kingdom of God ²  has already overtaken ³  you.

The crowd ¹  answered, “You’re possessed by a demon! ²  Who is trying to kill you?” ³ 

Jesus answered, “I am not possessed by a demon, ¹  but I honor my Father – and yet ²  you dishonor me.
