And we have different gifts ¹  according to the grace given to us. If the gift is prophecy, that individual must use it in proportion to his faith.

I always thank my God for you because of the grace of God that was given to you in Christ Jesus.

but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering. ¹ 

For one person is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, and another the message of knowledge according to the same Spirit,

But God gives it a body just as he planned, and to each of the seeds a body of its own.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a down payment. ¹ 

Now the one who prepared us for this very purpose ¹  is God, who gave us the Spirit as a down payment. ² 

Now we make known to you, brothers and sisters, ¹  the grace of God given to the churches of Macedonia,

And they did this not just as we had hoped, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and to us by the will of God.

But thanks be to God who put in the heart of Titus the same devotion ¹  I have for you,

Just as it is written, “He ¹  has scattered widely, he has given to the poor; his righteousness remains forever.” ² 

And God ¹  put ²  all things under Christ’s ³  feet, ⁴  and he gave him to the church as head over all things. ⁵ 

if indeed ¹  you have heard of the stewardship ²  of God’s grace that was given to me for you,

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high he captured ¹  captives; he gave gifts to men.” ² 

It was he ¹  who gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, ² 

It was not because we do not have that right, but to give ourselves as an example for you to imitate. ¹ 

So I want younger women to marry, raise children, and manage a household, in order to give the adversary no opportunity to vilify us. ¹ 

For God did not give us a Spirit ¹  of fear but of power and love and self-control.
