He composed ¹  3,000 proverbs and 1,005 songs.

“Were you the first man ever born? Were you brought forth before the hills?

He marks out the horizon ¹  on the surface of the waters as a boundary between light and darkness.

The Lord is good to all, and has compassion on all he has made. ¹ 

The wicked will be thrown down in his trouble, ¹  but the righteous have refuge ²  even in the threat of death. ³ 

Making a fortune ¹  by a lying tongue is like ²  a vapor driven back and forth; ³  they seek death. ⁴ 

I am the Lord, your Holy One, ¹  the one who created Israel, your king.”

So then, be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. ¹ 

He was in the world, and the world was created ¹  by him, but ²  the world did not recognize ³  him.

In any case, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman.

For ¹  neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for ²  anything; the only thing that matters is a new creation! ³ 

so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow – in heaven and on earth and under the earth –

for the one bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort – for the sake of his good pleasure – is God.
