Therefore keep up your courage, men, for I have faith in God ¹  that it will be just as I have been told.

After he said this, Paul ¹  took bread ²  and gave thanks to God in front of them all, ³  broke ⁴  it, and began to eat.

For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous before God, but those who do the law will be declared righteous. ¹ 

For what does the scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited ¹  to him as righteousness.” ² 

For the death he died, he died to sin once for all, but the life he lives, he lives to God.

So you too consider yourselves ¹  dead to sin, but ²  alive to God in Christ Jesus.

For the one who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by people. ¹ 

I always thank my God for you because of the grace of God that was given to you in Christ Jesus.

For the one speaking in a tongue does not speak to people but to God, for no one understands; he is speaking mysteries by the Spirit. ¹ 

But if there is no interpreter, he should be silent in the church. Let him speak to himself and to God.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

For every one of God’s promises are “Yes” in him; therefore also through him the “Amen” is spoken, to the glory we give to God.

Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His plea ¹  through us. We plead with you ²  on Christ’s behalf, “Be reconciled to God!”

But thanks be to God who put in the heart of Titus the same devotion ¹  I have for you,

for the weapons of our warfare are not human weapons, ¹  but are made powerful by God ²  for tearing down strongholds. ³  We tear down arguments ⁴ 

Now it is clear no one is justified before God by the law, because the righteous one will live by faith. ¹ 

and to reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by which the hostility has been killed. ¹ 

always giving thanks to God the Father for each other ¹  in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

We always ¹  give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,
