You must put away every kind of bitterness, anger, wrath, quarreling, and evil, slanderous talk.

Every scripture ¹  is inspired by God ²  and useful for teaching, for reproof, ³  for correction, and for training in righteousness,

For if the message spoken through angels ¹  proved to be so firm that every violation ²  or disobedience received its just penalty,

Then ¹  the entire town ²  came out to meet Jesus. And when they saw him, they begged him to leave their region.

For this reason I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin and blasphemy, ¹  but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.

And he replied, ¹  “Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant will be uprooted.

And if those days had not been cut short, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

Then Jesus came up and said to them, ¹  “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

And if the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would be saved. But because of the elect, whom he chose, he has cut them ¹  short.

Every valley will be filled, ¹  and every mountain and hill will be brought low, and the crooked will be made straight, and the rough ways will be made smooth,

But Jesus, ¹  realizing their thoughts, said to them, ²  “Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed, ³  and a divided household falls. ⁴ 

When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days and a violent ¹  storm continued to batter us, ²  we finally abandoned all hope of being saved. ³ 

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except by God’s appointment, ¹  and the authorities that exist have been instituted by God.

For it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to me, and every tongue will give praise to God.” ¹ 

But any woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered disgraces her head, for it is one and the same thing as having a shaved head.

All flesh is not the same: People have one flesh, animals have another, birds and fish another. ¹ 

Now all discipline seems painful at the time, not joyful. ¹  But later it produces the fruit of peace and righteousness ²  for those trained by it.

All generous giving and every perfect gift ¹  is from above, coming down ²  from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or the slightest hint of change. ³ 

For every kind of animal, bird, reptile, and sea creature ¹  is subdued and has been subdued by humankind. ² 

And he said, ¹  “Go!” So ²  they came out and went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep slope into the lake and drowned in the water.
