But regarding the fact that he has raised Jesus ¹  from the dead, never ²  again to be ³  in a state of decay, God ⁴  has spoken in this way: ‘I will give you ⁵  the holy and trustworthy promises ⁶  made to David.’ ⁷ 

Although they claimed ¹  to be wise, they became fools

All the people noticed this and it pleased them. ¹  In fact, everything the king did pleased all the people.

In fact he became so ill that he nearly died. ¹  But God showed mercy to him – and not to him only, but also to me – so that I would not have grief on top of grief.

If you strike ¹  him with the rod, you will deliver him ²  from death. ³ 

These people make promises in the name of the Lord. ¹  But the fact is, ²  what they swear to is really a lie.” ³ 

At that time, ¹  I will destroy the military power ²  of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.”

On that day there will be no light – the sources of light in the heavens will congeal. ¹

When Pilate ¹  was informed by the centurion, ²  he gave the body to Joseph.

You have sent to John, ¹  and he has testified to the truth.

and the one who sees me sees the one who sent me. ¹
