Joshua rewarded ¹  them and sent them on their way; they returned to their homes. ² 

Can you send out lightning bolts, and they go? Will they say to you, ‘Here we are’?

When his brothers had gone to graze their father’s flocks near Shechem,

So they loaded their grain on their donkeys and left. ¹ 

But these people have stubborn and rebellious hearts. They have turned aside and gone their own way. ¹ 

The four victorious kings ¹  took all the possessions and food of Sodom and Gomorrah and left.

They also took Abram’s nephew ¹  Lot and his possessions when ²  they left, for Lot ³  was living in Sodom. ⁴ 

The two men turned ¹  and headed ²  toward Sodom, but Abraham was still standing before the Lord. ³ 

“God will provide ¹  for himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son,” Abraham replied. The two of them continued on together.

Early in the morning the men made a treaty with each other. ¹  Isaac sent them off; they separated on good terms. ² 

Then he sent his brothers on their way and they left. He said to them, “As you travel don’t be overcome with fear.” ¹ 

Then his brothers also came and threw themselves down before him; they said, “Here we are; we are your slaves.”

and the Israelites went away and did exactly as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron. ¹ 

Then Moses got up ¹  and went to Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel went after him.

The descendants of Machir son of Manasseh went to Gilead, took it, and dispossessed the Amorites who were in it.

She said, “I agree to these conditions.” ¹  She sent them on their way ²  and then tied the red rope in the window.

When Joshua dismissed ¹  the people, the Israelites went to their allotted portions of territory, ²  intending to take possession of the land.

When the Israelites saw that Abimelech was dead, they went home. ¹ 

They turned and went on their way, but they walked behind the children, the cattle, and their possessions. ¹ 

So they traveled on, ¹  and the sun went down when they were near Gibeah in the territory of Benjamin. ²
